The days are long, you leave early in the morning, you work hard all day and you come home late at evening. You’re tired, you’re hungry and you would like to just sit down and relax. Well stop and remember our children. Yes, our children, they have been waiting for you to get home all day and they are watching us. They are excited that we are home, they run to the door with smiles on their faces. You smile because no matter how tired you are you are just as happy to see them. Have yours stopped running to the door to greet you? Ask yourself, when they were running to the door with smiles on their face did you stop to embrace them or did you say “hold on let Daddy get his shoes off, or wait till after dinner”. We are all guilty of not paying enough attention to our children. But we all still have a chance to change what it is we do, it is never too late as long as the good Lord blesses you with air in your lungs & a beating heart.

Stop and smell the roses or should I say stop to embrace our children!
