I hope everyone has had a wonderful and blessed summer with lots of playing at the pool or relaxing on a hot day in the shade with a tall cool glass of tea.

Now that the children are starting back to school it’s time for us to pay attention when driving around areas where for the last three months there has been no activity. This means making sure that when we are approaching intersections and school zones we take that little extra step to make sure we know who or what is around us. I know we are used to driving to work early in the morning but please remember that now we have children crossing streets and standing on corners waiting for the bus. It is that one time when the normal sun glare off the windows affects your view that a child will be stepping onto the street. So now we have to get back into the mindset that more and more children will be out there when we are running late to work or having a hard time seeing due to a dirty window and sun glare.
